The Purpose of our Men's Ministry - Our Priorities
1) To build up men and encourage them in their relationship with God. Whether single or married, a man must put the Lord first - well because it is just more than worth it.
2) To help men shine at their workplace. Work-related pressures to compete and get ahead, or to gripe and complain is at odds with Christ's goal for us to be a light that helps draw and connect people to Him.
3) To build up and encourage married men in their marriage. A man's relationship with his wife is the most important human relationship he will ever have. He must nurture and cherish his wife above his job, his children or his hobbies.
4) To help fathers draw their kids to Christ. Raising G-rated kids in an R-rated (or X-rated world) is a task that requires a lot of support.

OTHER MEN'S ACTION ITEMS
-We do work projects around our church.
-We have helped paint homes of elderly and infirmed people.
-We have had fishing retreats and bowling outings and we eat a lot. |
