The First Step towards connecting with God
How to come to know God:

First, realize that God loves you very, very much. He proved His great love when He made the ultimate sacrifice of giving up His Son Jesus, to die on the cross for your sins. All of us have sinned - both the Bible and experience tell us. |

Second, acknowledge that you have sinned and fallen short of God's perfect holiness. You must accept His forgiveness and receive His grace which is given only through His Son, Jesus Christ. Realize that we cannot save ourselves and no amount of good that we do can outweigh the sins we have all committed. Only Jesus' blood can atone for, or make up for our sins. |

Receiving Him is as simple as a prayer, if it is from your heart. |
