1) Friendly People - We have some great people at our church who will make you feel comfortable without putting you on the spot. You will not be asked to stand up and introduce yourself. People will visit with you to just say Hi. We don't pass a collection plate, we set an offering box in the rear of the auditorium.
2) Informal Dress and Style - We are casual in dress. It is not that we don't take God seriously. We just believe He wants us to be comfortable to focus on Him better, and not be hung up on our outward appearance.
3) Uplifting Contemporary Music - There are many styles of good church music - our music is upbeat and progressive. We have electric instruments and drums. We believe that worshipping a Creator who delights in us should bring a smile to our face.
4) Beneficial Messages - We believe the Christian life is the most exciting life a human being can live. Jesus came to set us free from sin's penalty and sin's bondage. So the purposes of our messages are to help set you free to know and serve God and people. There is responsibility in living a Christian life, yet serving God is truly the path to greater peace. Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive".
5) Kid's Program - The Promised Land - Children need God as much as adults. We have a complete program for kids of all ages to connect to God. We have a clean nursery and even a "cry room" where nursing mothers and mothers with small babies can be secluded and still see and hear the service.
